CHAPTER 3: Magua's plans


Before the Hurons returned, Heyward look out for a hiding place and when they thought that they were safe an Huron cry from just the entrance of the cave surprise them and they saw that Hurons were there and when they had gone, in another entrance Magua appeared, Heyward shoot at him but he fail.


Quicly, the hurons returned and the group were captured. Heyward tried to reach an agreement with the chief but Magua replied that he want to talk with Cora. He said to her that if she get married with him he will take her friends with to Fort William Henry. She answered no and Magua got very angry and tried to scare her.

An indian was going to kill Cora when Heyward ran between them and started to fight with the indian. When the indian was ready to kill Heyward, suddently, a rifle shot attained the Huron and he fell dead.
