THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS


CHAPTER 2: Behind the waterfall


The group, now guiding by the Mohicans Uncas and Chingachgook and Hawk-eye. They traveled by the river until reach a waterfall, they crossed it and find a cave, where they passed the night. In the middle of the night, they heard a terryfying scream and the men decided to stand guard. At dawn, Hawk-eye woke the rest quietly because they were going to be attacked by the tribe of the Hurons.

The Hurons attack was refused but they were trapped in the cave, and the singing teacher, Gamut, were injured. The Mohicans went to Fort William Henry to ask for help and Cora, Alice, Heyward and Gamut stayed in the cave.
